Week Ending - June 12

Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create, every day of the week!

Happy Sunday lovely! I hope you've had a fun week!

Winter's here and this cozy season has so much beauty. Those damp, foggy mornings, and the incessant rain and cold winds makes this homebody more than happy to hibernate. I love wearing layers, cooking comfort food, falling asleep to rain on the roof, and cozying up in the glow of candlelight.

Whatever season you're in, fall in love with life and find the beauty in every day!

Some of these links might inspire you, so here we go:

  • I baked these Applesauce Muffins from Chocolate Covered Katie and they were delicious. Very moist and flavorsome and perfect with a cup of Rooibus for afternoon tea. I add some walnuts to ours and that crunch made them perfect.
  • I'm eager to try the Jasmine Lavender DIY Milk Bath Jars recipe from Life-N-Reflection. Winter can be harsh on the skin, so I give it little extra TLC at this time of the year, and a milk bath sounds perfect.
  • Nothing smells or tastes better than cookies straight from the oven, and these Brown Butter Biscoff Chocolate Cookies from Two Peas and Their Pod look amazing. Maddi loves cookies and her second pregnancy has been very hard on her. A batch of these will bring a smile to her face!

  • Do you have some leftover hexies? Why not make the Simple Hexie Keyring from Molly and Mama? She has templates if you need them, and this looks like a fun project for a rainy afternoon. So sweet!
  • For all my cat lovers, this Cat Granny Square pattern from Irene Strange is a free download and it looks super cute. Grab your yarn stash and start crocheting a blanket full of adorable cats to treasure.

  • Did you see the gorgeous Berry Block (Moda Blockheads 4) all over social media last week? I love the ones on Lella Boutiques blog, and she has the link for you to download. Such a pretty block and adaptable for your favorite berries.
  • And lastly, if you're looking for a new historical fiction to enjoy, Modern Mrs Darcy has put together a great list of recommendations. I have a few of these in my stash and I'm on the search for the others. Great line up for lovers of this genre.

And that it for another week. I hope you found something to create over the coming week!

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well!

Happy Week Ending :)
