Week Ending - April 2

Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week!

Happy Sunday lovely! How has your creative week been?

Easter is almost here, so I thought I'd share some quick and easy last-minute projects to make this week. These projects are fun and great ideas when time is limited.

Let's go:

  • The kids will love helping you make these Pom Pom Yarn Easter Eggs from The Country Chic Cottage. They're colourful and fun and a great way to use up some of your yarn stash. Angie has a step-by-step tutorial and a bowl of these on the table would look cute!
  • The kids would also love these Wood Bead Easter Bunnies from The Craft Patch. These are so simple but absolutely perfect for Easter - I love the unpainted ones! I'm sure you can find lots of uses for these cuties.

  • Dash of Sanity has a recipe for Baked Carrot Cake Donut Holes, and these would be fun and easy to bake. They're bite sized pieces of carrot cake filled with cream cheese and are sure to delight the whole family this Easter.
  • Homemade on our Homestead has a tutorial to sew a Simple Fabric Basket Tote and sewn in Easter fabric this would make a great Egg Hunt bag. It's quick and easy and the tutorial is very well written and includes photos to make recreating these totes simple and fun!

  • Add a simple Stuffed Bunny to gift baskets using the pattern from So Easy Being Green. All you need is a fat quarter, some stuffing and a little sewing time to make one of these. Apparently, they multiple quickly, as you can imagine, and they're a great last-minute craft idea!
  • I loooove the Easter Egg Coasters from Tales of Knot. These are so delicate and so pretty. This pattern is available on Ravelry and it is a paid pattern. A fun project to work on while your wait for the Easter celebrations to begin!
  • The Swirled Easter Cake from Kids Activity Zone looks delicious and a fun way to involve the kids in the kitchen. Simple ingredients make this a great last minute Easter recipe and one everyone will enjoy!

And that's it for this week! I hope you've found some fun Easter projects over the last five weeks. Week Ending posts will return to normal next week! :)

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well :)

Happy Week Ending :)
