Its time for the Whirl Into Winter Giveaway and heres my prize for one lucky commentor:

Its a complete set of my BOM patterns for Tender Moments. Ive also included a few DMC threads and embrodiery needles to get you started. This quilt has special meaning to me and it is dedicated to my husband! 2009 promises to be full of wonderful new experiences and opportunities but one of the highlights for us will be celebrating 20 years of marriage in February.

  9. What a wonderful stitchery quilt - that's on my list of patterns to try in 2009! My daughter celebrated her 30th birthday on New Year's Day 2009. Her children will turn 3 and 1 in 2009! So 09 will be a busy year!

  16. One milestone is that we will be married 18 years this March 2nd. Also, my best friend from California will be visitng me in May. I haven't seen her since I moved to Kansas in August 2006. I can't wait to see her! Last, but not least, this will be my second year in business as a pattern designer.

  24. 2009 will be our 30th anniversary! Can't believe so many years have passed. We have 6 kids and 6 grandkids. Our oldest daughter is expecting her first child in the next few weeks and another grandchild will make an appearance this summer....MY! Happy new year to you and yours. The pattern makes a wonderful quilt..I can't wait to see the embroidered images better....if I win that is....

  49. In 2009 our oldest will graduate from high school and our next child will graduate from kindergarten! My husband and I will celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary and our youngest will turn 5. I'd say that's quite a lot to celebrate! Lovely giveaway too!

  50. My mother is 87 years old and still in good health. She still quilts, tats and teaches handcrafts to a few students who come to her home. We celebrate every year that she is still with us. And in August we hope to celebrate her 88th birthday.

  55. Hello Rose, what a wonderful giveaway for one lucky person, I hope its me. This year in 2009 my eldest son will be starting high school, I'm not looking foreward to it at all, luckily he is. Where does the time go, my little boy will soon be 13. My husband and I are also celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary, during that time he has carted me all over Australia with his job. Luckily we are here to stay now.

    My son should graduate from Nursing school in Dec. 2009. It's been a fight all the way, because he's an older student, he's male, and to some people, he looks like a biker, because he's big and has a beard. He's fought all kinds of prejudice, won a discrimination hearing, and many other difficult things. We are all rooting for him the last two semesters, and it looks as if the remaining teachers are ones who like him. Yay! =)

  87. Hi, thanks for this great giveaway. In 2009 my "first" niece will be 2 years old, and her sis will be one. The 2nd birthday of my first niece is an extremely big event as she was born as a really preterm baby (she was only 28 weeks old when born). She is completely healthy now, but every birthday is a biggie in the family. :)

It's my first mystery quilt and has been so exciting.I just signed up for goggle account to post on your blog. Also a first. This is my first time going to a blog site.
