Week Ending - October 31

Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create, every day of the week!

Happy Sunday lovely and Happy Halloween! I hope your celebrations are fun and you and your family make some wonderful new memories.

It's time to start looking at some Christmas projects (I'm too excited to wait much longer), so for the next seven or eight weeks my Week Ending posts will be full of inspiration for the holiday season. Let's get straight to it shall we?

  • I fell in love with the Woodland Christmas Tree from Downeast Thunder Farm. This pattern is a free download and I adore the rustic simplicity of this little felt tree. How nice would a garland of these look? Add this project to your must make list!
  • Try the Ice Cream Christmas Cone tutorial from The Two Bite Club to decorate your baked goods. I made some of these a few years back to add to our gingerbread house. They're so quick and easy and the kids loved helping.

  • The Oh Christmas Tree Wall Hanging is a free pattern designed by Phyliss Dobbs and its available for download on the P & B Textiles website. You'll have lots of fun with this one, so go grab your copy today!
  • Add these Christmas Tree Hand Pies from Smart School House to your Christmas menu. These adorable little pies are filled with cheesecake and decorated with sprinkles. They look easy and will be a festive addition to an celebration.

  • I've had this Crochet Snow Globe Amigurumi pattern from Golden Lucy Crafts on my must make list for awhile now, and I'm making on this year - I am, I am!. Isn't it adorable? If you love snow globes then give this free pattern a try - there's also an ad free version in her Etsy shop.
  • Fudge lovers make sure you bookmark this one! It's the Gingerbread Swirl Fudge recipe from Sally's Baking Addition and it looks amazing. It would be perfect for homemade gifts or to enjoy as you watch Christmas movies or decorate the tree.
  • Grab your Christmas fabrics and using Diary of A Quilter's Quick Cornerstone Tutorial sew yourself a quilt to get in you in the spirit. This looks like lots of fun and you'll have it finished in no time.

And that's it for my first Christmas Week Ending post. I hope you found something to get you excited about the upcoming season. Make sure you bookmark your favorites because over the next few weeks I'll be sharing so many wonderful Christmas projects.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well!

Happy Week Ending :)
