Week Ending - December 10

Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week!

Happy Sunday lovely! I hope your week has been kind!

Christmas festivities are well underway, and everything feels chaotic. Maddi and I are escaping the hustle and bustle today and taking Miss Iris to the Bridestow Lavender Farm. A girl's trip is exactly what we need, and I can't think of a more beautiful and peaceful place to visit.

I did find you some creative Christmas ideas this week, so let's go:

  • Centre Street Quilts has a Free Christmas Tree Table Runner tutorial that's so clever and fun! The trees run in both directions making it perfect for the dining table and it's a quick and easy project you can sew in a weekend! Check it out!
  • The kids will love the Adorable Milk Arrowroot and Ginger Reindeers recipe from Arnotts Biscuits. It's a cute treat that would add a festive touch to charcuterie boards, school parties or for a special treat while watching Christmas movies!

  • Can you ever have too many wreaths? I love the Quilters Wreath Pattern from Annie's E-Pattern Central. This one is available for purchase and it's such a fun design. It finishes at 39" square and its basic piecing and applique.
  • The girls at Daisy Farm Crafts have put together a post sharing 30 Free Crochet Christmas Stocking Patterns and there are so many gorgeous designs in this roundup. The patterns are all linked so visit today and choose a favorite.

  • Essie Birdies has the cutest Crochet Gingerbread House pattern for you to download. You could use this to applique on other projects or add a hanger and hang it to your tree. A whole garland of these would look cute as well :)
  • The Candy Cane Pinwheel Cookies from Pint Sized Baker will delight peppermint lovers. Not only do they look so pretty but they are easy to bake, and they taste delicious. Make sure you give these a try this Christmas.
  • And lastly, a fun project you can do with the kids. Home Talk has a tutorial for making the cutest Gnomes Using Soup Cans. It will keep them busy, and they also provide storage making them a dual-purpose Christmas decor item. So fun!

And that's it for another week! I hope you found something fun to create!

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well :)

Happy Week Ending :)
