Free 2025 Calendar

A new year offers limitless possibilities, a full range of emotions, countless dreams and goals, special occasions and treasured memories. Keep things organised next year with my free 2025 Calendar.

Good morning lovely!

One of my favorite things to do every year is to produce and release a new calendar to make your sewing space pretty and inspiring, and today it's time to share my Free 2025 Calendar

I release my calendar in November, so you have plenty of time to print one for yourself and one to gift to your crafty friends and family this Christmas.

The theme for this year's calendar is mini quilts (again) and I've included all of the designs I shared with you this year plus an older Christmas pattern. It's been lovely to revisit these monthly mini quilts and see them all together in one fun calendar.

Can we just talk about this gorgeous cover for a moment?

The feature photo is my Nova Mini Quilt in watercolour and I'm in love. It's soft, delicate and subtle making this year's calendar a pretty addition to any sewing space.

The transparency of watercolour is what makes it such a popular medium with artists and it's a beautiful and enjoyable form of art that captures emotion and atmosphere with its lights and shadows. Watercolour helps me relax and let go of expectations and watching how the paint flows and moves across the paper can be therapeutic.

Nova was the first mini quilt I shared for 2024, so it seemed fitting that she be the shining star of this year's calendar.

Each month features a gorgeous mini quilt, and looking back at the designs I shared this year has been a wonderful experience. You've showered them with love throughout the year and shared your versions with me which always makes me happy and inspired.

As always, I've included a sweet and simple monthly quote to encourage you to keep creating and to keep you motivated and uplifted as we navigate our way through another new year.

The date blocks are the same size as in previous years, so you'll have plenty of space to add appointments, deadlines etc. and you also have your Tasks and Notes section plus a Projects and Inspiration section to record your quilting journey.

Just like last year, I have included a unique discount code for each of the twelve mini quilt patterns featured in the calendar, and they will be active for the whole month each quilt is featured.

I've included directions for using each discount code in the calendar and the code will entitle you to 20% off the purchase price of the mini quilt PDF pattern at checkout.

I hope these lovely mini quilts keep you inspired throughout 2025!

I sent my file to Officeworks for printing, and I was happy with the vibrancy of the colours, but they seem to have changed their printing margins - last year's calendar had the exact same margins but they've included a larger white border around my pages this year.

This seems to be an Officeworks issue only, as they do print up lovely on your home computer - I always test them at home before I send it through for professional printing and binding and the sizing remained the same.

I prefer a silky cardstock to give the printed pages a sturdy structure, and I selected a metal binding to hold everything together.

I've been sharing calendars for over ten years now and I love producing them for you. I know I have some lovely readers who prefer their calendars to start the week on a Sunday, and while I aim to produce two versions every year, some years it just does not happen.

This article will explain why I start my calendars on a Monday.

Threadbare Creations is a one woman show, family always comes first and I'm not Superwoman, but this year I pulled a couple of late, late nights to produce two downloads for you - one version beginning the week on a Monday and one a Sunday.

Being able to produce both versions this year is fantastic, and I know some of you will appreciate the extra effort.  It also relieves my inbox of all the unpleasant emails I receive when two versions are simply not possible.

A new planner or calendar always excites me because there's a whole new year to plan, a life to live intentionally and simple joys to be found in each and every new day!

I hope you enjoy my Free 2025 Calendar. It was a pleasure to design and I'm sure both versions will keep you organised all year round. It's pretty and functional and it will be the perfect addition to your sewing space in 2025.

Enjoy!

  1. Hi Rose,
Thank you ! It's always a joy to print out your calendar :)
Such a shame people complain about free stuff when it just takes a bit of getting used to !
I grew up with the Sunday calendar. Overtime there was a Monday calendar ! That makes it much easier to block in a whole weekend :) Live and learn !
Thank you for all the colour and encouragement and joy !
