Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week!
Happy Sunday lovely! How has your week been?
It's our grandson's birthday party today! Landon turns three on Tuesday and today he celebrates with his friends. The theme for this year is Bluey, and Mummy and Daddy have done an amazing job making this the best day ever for our little poppet!
Landon is such a joy and he's my little buddy and little shadow! He's loving, sweet, energetic and funny, and it's been a privilege to watch him grow into the most adorable little boy! Nanna loves you soooo much poppet!
I did find some wonderful Christmas projects for you this week, so let's go:
- Daisy Farm Crafts have the Crochet Holiday Bobble Tree Hot Pad pattern for you to try. These would make great gifts or give your kitchen a festive feel. Their patterns are always easy to follow and lots of fun to make.
- How about a Chocolate Peppermint Marble Cake with Chocolate Ganache for Christmas? Sounds delicious right? 2 Cooks In Mama has a recipe for you, and it looks impressive. I'm sure your guests will enjoy a slice of pure indulgence.
- Every year I wish I had time to sew a Christmas quilt for our bed, but it's not going to happen again this year. :( I'd love something similar to the Knitted Star Quilt from Lo and Behold Stitchery. In this post she shares the quilts from her testers and the examples are gorgeous and inspiring. If you have the time to make one for yourself, run and grab a PDF copy of her pattern and have fun!
- One of our Christmas Eve traditions is to make and decorate a gingerbread house, and the whole family gets involved which I love. A Sprinkle of Joy has a post with 10 Gingerbread House Tips and Tricks to help you every step of the way.
- Sarah from Repeat Crafter Me always designs the cutest crochet patterns and I love her Crochet Snowman Pocket Pouches. These would make cute gifts for neighbours or as class gifts for the kids. Have fun with this pattern! :)
- The Starry Ornament Christmas Table Runner pattern from Flamingo Toes will add a beautiful touch to your dining table. The pattern is free for you to download, and she's also included some Starry Ornament Cross Stitch patterns and a recipe for Cherry Almond Shortbread Cookies. Make sure you check them all out!
- Hayhay Crochet has the cutest Crochet Granny Square Vest pattern for you to crochet. It features a simple tree design and it's fun and easy. The pattern covers 8 sizes and is very easy to adjust. Have fun with this!
And that's it for another week! I hope these projects helped with your Christmas crafting and celebrations.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well :)
