Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week!
Happy Sunday lovely! I hope you've had a lovely week!
We celebrated our daughter's 30th birthday this week and yesterday we took her on a road trip to Hobart for some book shopping therapy. Books are a huge part of Maddi's life and ordering online is convenient, but nothing beats visiting an actual shop and perusing the shelves at your leisure.
She had the best week and we're so proud of her beautiful soul, her dedication to her family and of everything she has achieved and is working towards. Happy birthday sweet girl!
I did find you some wonderful projects this week, so let's go:
- The Brunch Crochet Cardigan from the Make and Do Crew is cleverly constructed using two hexagons. I love how it drapes, and it would be the perfect addition to any spring wardrobe. The pattern is free to use, and it looks fun.
- Readers will love the Free Printable Bookmarks with Butterflies from The Graphics Fairy. It a simple print and cut project and such a sweet addition to gifted books or for your own. The butterflies are adorable and a must have for all book lovers.
- How yummy does the German Rhubarb Cake with Strudel and Pudding from Ester Kocht look? It's a classic dessert in Germany and I can see why - it looks delicious. The recipe looks easy to follow and definitely one to bookmark.
- Tonight's dinner is the Butternut Squash Quiche with Cheese and Onions from Evergreen Kitchen. This is one of those recipes you can make ahead of time and reheat and it's delicious - the caramelized onions add so much sweetness and flavour.
- Looking for a fun sewing project? How about these adorable Penguin Rice Bags from Sew Modern Bags. The kids can use them as throw and catch toys or as door stops for their bedrooms. I'm pretty sure these could become addictive to sew!
- Another fun project for the kids and a great use of fabric scraps is the Felt Memory Game from One Little Imp. Landon loves memory games, so I'll make a set for him using the tutorial. A quick and easy project that will bring hours of fun!
- Heart Hook Home has a crochet pattern for Pan Protectors that might be useful. They will protect your pots from scratches and abrasions and the pattern includes four sizes. The PDF pattern is available for purchase in her Etsy shop.
And that's it for another week. I hope you found something fun to create!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well :)
Happy Week Ending :)
