Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers. Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week.
Happy Sunday lovely! I hope you've had a creative week.
I've been putting the finishing touches on a new quilt block pattern for you. I'm excited about this lovely and fun addition to my pattern family, and I can't wait to release it on Tuesday morning. I hope it adds something special to your quilt projects, so make sure you come back and visit next week!
I did find you some wonderful projects this week, so let's go:
- Tonight's dinner is the Prosciutto and Honey Burrata Pizza from Pinch of Comfort. This is the perfect sweet/savory harmony and a lovely meal for a Sunday night in the garden. Our pizza oven has been over worked this summer baking yummy pizzas and I'm hoping everyone will enjoy this flavour combination.
- Little Black Duck has a gorgeous Love Letter FPP Quilt Block Pattern available for purchase and this will add a special touch to your Valentine's Day projects. There are a few other blocks at the bottom of the post that are gorgeous as well, so make sure you check them all out.
- How gorgeous is the Iris Stitch Crochet Afghan pattern from Daisy Cottage Designs? This chunky blanket has cosy texture, and the iris stitch is gorgeous. I pinned this blanket ages ago and I have yarn for it, so I'm adamant I'll crochet this during our autumn. It will be the perfect snuggly element for my reading chair in the cooler months.
- Let's try the Vegan Cardamom Rose Cupcakes from Short Girl Tall Order. I love the flavour of cardamom and paired with the sweet florals of rosewater sounds like a match made in heaven. A good recipe to save for February when we celebrate all things love.
- The Starry Sweetheart Quilt Tutorial from Shadow Valley Quilts is available on YouTube and this quilt is stunning. If your love the Ohio Star Block, then you're going to fall in love with this quilt. You can purchase a copy of the PDF Pattern HERE and follow along with the video tutorial. Such a fun and beautiful design that's perfect for Valentine's Day.
- The Riverbed Blanket from CJ Design Blog is a gorgeous crochet blanket pattern that is free to use. It's perfect for beginners and a great way to play with different colour combinations - I love the colours in Daniela's example.
- And lastly, one more heart block pattern for you. The Head Over Heels Heart Pattern from Joe June and Mae is a FPP quilt block pattern which includes four sizes of this fabulous geometric heart. It's versatile, fun and available for purchase in their store.
And that's it for another week. I hope you create one of these fabulous projects.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely. Stay safe and well.
Happy Week Ending :)
