Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers. Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week.
Happy Sunday lovely! I hope your week has been kind.
March is here so it's time to start thinking about Easter preparations and what we want to create. The shops are looking festive, and everything is so beautiful, but nothing beats handmade in my opinion.
With so many talented makers out there, it's hard to know where to begin. My Week Ending posts will be Easter inspired for the next few weeks, so let's go:
- I adore the Wheat Stitch Easter Bunny Crochet Baskets from Brianna K Designs. This pattern uses my favorite Hue and Me yarn and they will crochet up quickly. The wheat stitch creates a gorgeous textured design, and the simple ears and pom pom tail make this the cutest Easter basket around.
- Add the Decadent Easter Carrot Cakes Scones recipe from Mollys Home Guide to your menu. These are buttery and flaky, spicy and cosy and they are topped with a simple cream cheese glaze, perfect for get togethers or a sweet snack with your morning coffee.
- The Baby Bunny Quilt Pattern from Coach House Design Quilt Patterns is a stunning quilt pattern and super cute. You can use layer cake squares for this design and PDF patterns are available for purchase at Quilting Book Patterns and Notions. Perfect for children's rooms or to add a soft and simple element to your home decorating.
- And how adorable is the Sweet Bea Bunny from Quilt Doodle Designs? This sweet appliqué design can be used on all your Easter projects and she's adorable. The PDF pattern is available for purchase in their Etsy shop as an instant download. Love the naive nature of this one.
- The Easter Whoopie Pies recipe from The Farm Girl Gabs are a light and sweet treat and don't they look amazing? It's a simple recipe with pantry staples and they look festive and fun. My grandchildren will love helping with these, sprinkles are life!
- The Easter Bunny Garland from Knotted Nest is a sweet combination of crocheted bunnies and flowers and such a piece decor piece for your home. The pattern is free to use, and she's also linked a few of her other free garland patterns in the post.
- You know I love quick and easy decor that you can change with the seasons, so I found a wonderful selection of Free Easter Printable Decor on The Crazy Craft Lady's website. There so much to choose from - watercolour, vintage, egg hunt signs, garlands and so much more. Enjoy!
And that's it for another week. I hope these Easter projects inspired you.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely. Stay safe and well :)
Happy Week Ending :)
