Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week.
Happy Sunday lovely. I hope your week has been fun and creative.
We celebrated the autumn equinox with a morning in the forest - muffins, cookies and hot chocolate make the experience cosy and rejuvenating. The grandchildren enjoyed foraging and they loved making tree rubbings with pencil and paper.
The forest clears away the worries and it's the perfect way to celebrate our autumnal season. How did you celebrate the autumn/spring equinox?
I did find you seven wonderful Easter inspired projects, so let's go:
- Make your Easter table festive with the Easter Crochet Napkin Rings Pattern from A Crocheted Simplicity. The designs are adorable and you can choose between bunny ears, a lamb, a carrot or a baby chick - or make all four! The pattern is free to use, and you can purchase an ad free version using the links she's provided.
- The Spring Bunnies In Love Pillow from Flamingo Toes is super sweet and such an easy pattern. She has used her Cricut to cut out the felt bunnies and fabric and then sewn everything together, using raw edge applique to secure the bunnies. A fun project.
- The Easter Cake Roll from Recipes Oven looks festive and delicious. A simple sponge cake rolled with cream and sprinkles or Easter decorations and finished with a white chocolate icing makes this roll special and a crowd pleaser for sure.
- The Cute Easter Bunny and Chick Pattern from Kame Crochet would make lovely additions to Easter gift baskets or as part of your decorating. It's basic stitches and the perfect stash buster, and the free pattern looks easy to follow. So fun and festive.
- The girls from Daisy Farm Crafts have the sweetest Crochet Sheep Blanket Pattern on their site as a free pattern. Included in the post is a link to the graph and video to help you recreate your own blanket and this would make a gorgeous newborn gift anytime of the year.
- Trendy Tummy has a post with 18 Easter Baking Recipes for A Beautiful Table and it's hard to choose a favorite. Cakes, muffins, mousse and cookies, you'll find something special for your celebrations all in the one place.
- Our grandchildren love hand puppets and creative play so the Bunny Hand Puppets pattern from Purl Soho was perfect. This is a free pattern, and the tutorial is easy to follow to give you the best results. These will make a wonderful addition to Landon and Iris's Easter Baskets.
And that's it for another week. I hope you found something fun and festive to create.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely. Stay safe and well :)
Happy Week Ending :)
