Week Ending - March 29

Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week.

Happy Sunday lovely! I hope you've had a creative week.

Easter is almost here, so this week's post is full of last-minute craft ideas to make your celebrations fun and heartfelt. I'm looking forward to a quiet and relaxed Easter with the family. Our traditions are simple but special and of course, we all there for the chocolate.

Here's the seven Easter inspired projects I found for you this week:

  • Let's begin with the Free Printable Spring Bunny Wall Art from The Cottage Market. This print is Monet inspired and it is stunning. It's a subtle Easter decoration and a quick and easy way to add a festive touch to your home with minimal effort.
  • The Puff Flower Easter Egg Pattern from Crochet Road is a cute free pattern on Ravelry. Use these crocheted eggs as a garland, tags for gifts, coasters, or add them to your Easter wreath. A great project to wind down with at night and a wonderful scrap buster.

  • Make your own Sourdough Hot Cross Buns using the recipe from Baked Collective. The signature tang of sourdough makes these buns special and far better than anything you buy in store. They are worth the effort and the recipe instructions make it very easy to follow and plan your baking.
  • Bustle and Sew has an Easter Collection of six pretty projects, recipes, craft projects etc. for you to download and sew. There's a cushion, softie, wall hanging and more and each project is delightful. Simply click on the link and join their email list to download your copy.

  • Made Just Sew has a free tutorial for the Quilted Bunny Bag and this is such a fun project. Fill them with chocolate or small Easter trinkets and gift them to friends and neighbours. The tutorial is comprehensive with lots of photos to make sewing your bag easy.
  • Crispy Savors has a fun tutorial for Pastry Easter Nests with a cream filling, delicious pastry that looks adorable. Fill them with chocolate Easter eggs, jellybeans, fruit or pastel lollies to decorate your table. The kids will love helping with these and they look so festive.
  • The Snuggle Bunny from Miss Daisy Patterns & Tutorials is a free tutorial for a sweet and soft bunny, perfect to add to kid's baskets. The tutorial guides you through every step and it's a wonderful handmade item that will be cherished for years to come.

And that's it for another week! I hope you found a quick and easy project to create for Easter.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely. Stay safe and well :)

Happy Week Ending :)
