Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week!
Happy Sunday lovely. I hope your week has been creative and fun.
Even though Hot Cross Buns have been in the supermarkets since the first day of the year, I ate my first one of the season this week. In the lead up to Easter they're enjoyable with a cup of coffee for morning tea and they are so many flavours to try. Have you indulged yet or do you wait till Good Friday? And what's your favorite Hot Cross Bun flavour?
I did find some wonderful Easter projects this week, so let's go:
- The Cute Bunny Square from The Unraveled Mitten is a free crochet cable pattern square which is subtle but oh so pretty. It's such a versatile pattern and can be used in baby blankets, afghans, cushions or on the edge of scarves etc. A fun and simple crochet project for all your Easter needs.
- The Bunny Love Quilt Block from Sashas Quilts is a FPP quilt block pattern that will add some charm to your Easter projects. The pattern is beginner friendly and there are three sizes included in the pattern. PDF patterns can be purchased from their Etsy shop.
- How adorable is the Bunny Shaped Bread Recipe from Humbly Homemade? It's a four-ingredient recipe and the step-by-step photos make it easy to re-create. This will delight your guests and be the perfect centrepiece for Easter celebrations. Add this one to your list.
- Fig Tree Quilts has a guest tutorial from Lacey Poirier for her Patchwork Easter Eggs. These are super sweet and very easy, and they'd make wonderful garlands or use them individually as gift tags. A fun idea that you can create quickly.
- I love the Sherpa Crochet Bunny from Simply Made By Erin. It's soft and fluffy and has the cutest face. Add these little handmade bunnies to gift baskets or use them around your home to decorate. Super cute and easy to crochet.
- I found this adorable post for 3 Easy Trinket Dishes You Can Make With Air Dry Clay from Polymer Craft. This is a fun activity to create with the kids or as a relaxation project on a weekend. There are lots of tips to help you achieve the best results. I love them all and plan to give them a try very soon with the grandchildren.
- And finally, wow your guests with the Indulgent Easter Hummingbird Cake from Mum Recipes. This cake looks delicious and one that will please all your guests. There are variations included to suit all tastes, and those layers look enticing and impressive.
And that's it for another week. I hope you found something fun to create.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely. Stay safe and well :)
Happy Week Ending :)
