Even though Hot Cross Buns have been in the supermarkets since the first day of the year, I ate my first one of the season this week. In the lead up to Easter they're enjoyable with a cup of coffee for morning tea and they are so many flavours to try. Have you indulged yet or do you wait till Good Friday? And what's your favorite Hot Cross Bun flavour?

I did find some wonderful Easter projects this week, so let's go:

Fig Tree Quilts has a guest tutorial from Lacey Poirier for her Patchwork Easter Eggs. These are super sweet and very easy, and they'd make wonderful garlands or use them individually as gift tags. A fun idea that you can create quickly.

There are lots of tips to help you achieve the best results. I love them all and plan to give them a try very soon with the grandchildren.
