Week Ending - April 12

Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week.

Happy Sunday lovely! I hope you enjoyed your Easter break and found some creative time.

For this week's Week Ending post I thought I'd search for projects with a nature theme. Depending on where you are in the world, you're either in autumn or spring right now and everything is changing and nature is a profusion of inspiring colour.

Let's see what projects I found this week:

  • Ladybug Wonderland from Magic Little Dreams is a fun, bright and whimsical quilt pattern that I'm sure you'll love. This is a pieced and appliqued quilt and such a clever way to bring nature into your home. The pattern is available for purchase in their store and is offered as a digital download.
  • The Leafling Bandana Pattern from Cozy Fairie Craft is unique and inspired by nature and fantasy. You can add a bit of whimsy to your wardrobe and it's suitable for the more advanced crocheter. Simply choose how much you'd like to pay to purchase a copy of the PDF pattern from her site.
  • The Wonderful World of Paper-Pieced Quilt Blocks is an amazing resource from Liza Taylor. This book includes 30 paper pieced designs including flowers, moths, mushrooms, butterflies and more. You can purchase a copy of the book from Amazon.

  • The Nature's Walk Standard Blanket pattern from Sandra Paul is a free pattern on Ravelry and it's such a pretty pattern. Think pretty pastels for spring or earthy tones for autumn. You can easily adjust the sizing on this and it's perfect for all crochet levels with easy stitches and clear instructions.
  • I can't wait to bake the Autumn Almond Cookies from Sliced Ginger. These look so fun and it's the perfect opportunity to try out my new autumn cookie cutters. For a sweet floral treat, why not try her Earl Grey Stained Glass Floral Cookies Recipe? They're spring in a cookie and very easy to bake.

And that's it for another week. I hope you found a project or two to create.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well :)

Happy Week Ending :)
