Our daughter celebrated her 32nd birthday yesterday and our granddaughter turns four in a few weeks, so this week's Week Ending theme is birthday celebrations. Let's spoil our families with handmade decorations or items to mark their special occasion.

Let's go:

• Treasurie has a tutorial for Bunting with 3 Free Templates. You can choose the shape that suits your needs and sew bunting to match your celebrations or theme. Applique letters onto the bunting to spell Happy Birthday or the name of the birthday person.
• Looking for ideas for a birthday buffet? Tin Roof Drink Community has a post with 20 Unique Birthday Buffet Ideas for you to consider. They all look fun and easy, and the variety will satisfy all your guests.

• Stardust Crochet has a free chart for a C2C Cherry Cake Square with a birthday candle, and this is part of a crochet along. There are links to other sweet treat blocks in the CAL, and you could make a blanket or wall hanging to add to your celebrations.
• Happy Sew Lucky has a Party Pack in their Etsy shop. There are twelve FPP patterns included in the instant download and they make a gorgeous little quilt. You'll find balloons, a cake, bunting, sweets and more. This pattern is available for purchase.

• Make the birthday person feel special with the Birthday Placemat Pattern from Ahhhh Quilting. This design uses raw edge applique making it quick and easy and there is a bonus birthday banner included. PDF patterns are available for purchase in their Etsy shop.
• Crochet a Mini Party Hat using the free tutorial from Elise Rose Crochet. This is perfect as a table decoration or for a young child (or pet) on their birthday and its easily customisable. Its super sweet and the pattern looks easy to follow with a bonus video tutorial.
• The Balloon On A String Block Pattern from Burlap Blossom Pattern is super cute and versatile for all your celebration sewing. A whole quilt of these would look amazing. The PDF pattern includes four block sizes and is available for purchase in their store.
