Happy Sunday lovely! I hope your week has been creative and fun.

Playing ball games with the grandkids in the spring sunshine, was the highlight of my week. They have so much energy to burn, and their laughter makes everything right with the world.

This week's Week Ending theme is ball games and I hope these seven projects inspire you to create and spend time outdoors playing. 

Let's go:

• Slam Dunk is a fun quilt pattern from Cluck Cluck Sew. It's a traditionally pieced quilt and the pattern includes three sizes - crib, throw and twin. It's perfect for basketball fans and the paper pattern is available for purchase at The Rural Stitch Co.
• The Soccer Cheese Ball Appetizer from The Garden Style is the perfect centrepiece for match days or watch parties. It looks impressive, sounds yummy and a super easy DIY that guests will love. The recipe includes lots of tips and a printable recipe card.

• The Baseline Blanket from Amy Gundersun is a clever C2C tennis blanket and it's available on Ravelry as a free pattern. It uses a 10ply Aran yarn and finishes at 52" square, and I love how she's given the ball a 3D effect as it bounces off the baseline. So fun! 
• Joe June and Me have a Sports Quilt Block Pattern Bundle in their store and it includes soccer, baseball and football block patterns. Each block includes five sizes - 6", 8", 9", 10" & 12" and they are foundation paper piecing patterns. Perfect for the sports enthusiast and versatile for your quilting projects.

• My dad would love the Golf Quilt Pattern from Easy Piece Quilts. Flags, bags and the cutest buggies make up this 72" square quilt and it's all traditionally pieced. Its jelly roll friendly and perfect for scraps and the PDF pattern is available for purchase in their store as an instant download.
• A simple treat for basketball games is the Nothin' But Net Cookies from American Lifestyle Mag. Made with pretzels, white chocolate, candies etc. these will delight your guests with minimal effort, and they look pretty damn cute.
• The Flaming Basketball Graph from Highland Hickory Designs is a fun C2C graph basketball fans will love. It uses seven yarn colours, and you can choose which stitch you prefer to work the design. A fun project and the graph is free to download.
