Week Ending (October 7)

Happy Sunday! I hope your week has been creative and fun. I've had a nasty sinus infection and its really floored me. I had planned on achieving so much this week but obviously my body had other ideas :(  On the plus side (there's always a positive) I had lots of time to rest up and find some great links for this weeks Week Ending post so lets get to it shall we:

  • Betz White has just announced her 2018 Holiday Stitch Along Ornament Club. There will be five felt ornament patterns revealed over ten weeks and if past years are anything to go on you are going to love Betz's new designs. You can have a look at last years gorgeous designs HERE.
  • Ashleigh from Sewrella released a new free pattern called the Rainer Sweater and I love the simplicity of this design. I have yet to crochet anything wearable but my file of options is huge. I've added this one to the list and it might be a good starting point when I finally work up the courage to crochet myself a sweater.
  • Jamielyn's Ultimate Chocolate Souffle had me salivating this week. How yum does that look? I'm giving this recipe a try next week for sure ♥
  • I love Amy Smarts blog and she shared a new tutorial for this adorable Four Square Quilt which is stunning. Its a comprehensive tutorial with loads of information and tips, and there's also options for making a larger quilt. Have fun with this one!
  • Mandy from Red Agape released her ninth block in the Casual Granny Square CAL and her Mandala Granny is gorgeous. I stopped following along with this CAL because I wasn't loving my yarn choices but I do plan to restart once all of the patterns are available.  I'll choose some new yarns to make this blanket, or though a blanket full of these squares would be amazing :)
  • Happy Quilting is holding a giveaway for a gorgeous Jelly Roll of Coledale by Franny and Jane. Entries are open until Tuesday Oct 9 so head over there quickly and enter for your chance to win :)
  • And lastly, these Toffee Apple Pie Cookies sound and look delicious. I'm hoping to try these this afternoon because there hasn't been any cooking going on here all week and we need a treat :(

And that's my list for another week. I'm hoping to be way more productive in the coming days and we have a trip to the Tulip Farm planned for later in the week, so sinus infection be gone!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
Happy Week Ending :)
