Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week!
Happy Sunday lovely! I hope you're having a stress-free lead up to Christmas.
As the festive season is so close, I thought I'd share projects in this week's Week Ending that are quick and easy last minute gift ideas. I'm sure you have enough on your plate as it is right now, but if you've forgotten someone on your list or you're running out of time, these seven projects might be just what you're looking for.
Let's go:
- The Cinnamon Honey Butter recipe from Tidy Mom not only looks adorable in a glass jar but it sounds delicious. She's also included a tutorial for how to present it in a mason jar with all the bling. It sounds like the perfect last minute gift idea and it's inexpensive to make and yummy on just about everything.
- A Crocheted Simplicity has a free crochet pattern for an Earbud Holder that would be quick and easy to make, and a heartfelt gift to someone dear to you. Add a key ring and they can attach it to their bag or backpack and if earbuds are not their thing, then add a personal gift like chapstick, lipgloss or fidget spinners.
- Sew a batch of Christmas Tree Coasters using the free pattern from Oliva Jane Handcraft. These little cuties are foundation paper pieced and a perfect scrappy project. These will delight anyone on your gift list and don't forget to make one for yourself. :)
- The Dark Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies from Liv For Cake are a classic combination of peppermint and chocolate and perfect for gift giving. They look festive and delicious and packed in a Christmas Gift Box or wrapped in a cellophane bag they'll surely delight co-workers, neighbours, friends and your very busy delivery guy or postman.
- A super-fast project is the Crochet Crafty Loop Earring Pattern from A Crafty Concept. These pretty earrings can be crocheted in around fifteen minutes, and you only need to know one stitch. You can also use her earring tags to present them, and you just need to sign up to her newsletter to download the file. So fun!
- Moogly has the Hyperbolic Velvet Crochet Scrunchie Pattern for you to use. It's a three row pattern that's easy to adapt and I'm sure someone on your list would love these in an array of colours.
- The Casserole Dish Hot Pad is a free pattern from Bre T Quilt Designs and it's a thoughtful and useful gift idea for anyone hosting Christmas dinner this year. It's easy to size up or down and another stash busting project.
And that's it for another week. I hope these last-minute gift ideas save you some time so you can enjoy a cheesy Christmas movie or two.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well :)
Happy Week Ending :)
