Week Ending (November 4)

Happy Sunday dear friend! I hope you're enjoying your weekend. We're finishing off a small(ish) renovating project today and so far its looking great. I love how even the little things change the look and feel of your home so dramatically.
I've got seven more Christmas inspired links for you this week, so here we go:

  • There's nothing better than a tried and true recipe and this Easy Christmas Pudding appears to be foolproof. I love this woman's philosophy to cooking and she explains how easy this recipe is to adapt. Make sure you read the whole article and scroll to the bottom for the recipe.
  • How about sewing some Christmas Bunting this year? Crazy Little Projects has a great tutorial for a Reversible Christmas and Valentines Day Bunting which is quick and easy to sew and pretty darn cute too! Plus reverse it and you'll be ready for Valentines Day. Bonus!
  • The kids would love this super cute Have A Pixel Christmas Crochet Blanket. Its crocheted using the corner to corner method and all of your favorite characters are included. It could be a great way to clear out some of your stash ready for a big yarn shopping trip in the New Year :)

  • There are lots of ways to wrap and gift your home baked goodies but I'm loving these Sugar Cookie Sacks from Celebrate Creativity. She shares her full tutorial plus little tips along the way and I think you're going to love these too.
  • Ashleigh from Sewrella released her first Christmas pattern of the year and its a gorgeous Farmhouse Christmas Stocking. It has that vintage feel and a few of these would look great hanging along the mantel ready for Santa.

  • Betty Crockers 3 Ingredient Christmas Swirl Fudge looks like a fun recipe for the kids to try.  Its simple ingredients that you can buy in advance and something they can make with a little grown up supervision. Add this one to your must do list and watch the kids face light up when those swirls appear.
  • And lastly, grab some felt, thread and ribbons and sew some of these lovely Christmas Pudding Felt Ornaments. How fun are these?  And what a great idea for the tree or as a gift card to add to your presents.

And that's it for another week. I hope you found a few new projects to add to your wish list. My list seems to be getting longer every day :)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. I have to get back to the touch up painting - apparently it doesn't get done all by itself. Damn! ;)
Happy Week Ending :)
