Week Ending - March 21

Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create, every day of the week!

Happy Sunday lovely! How's your week been? I spent most of the week quilting and binding my Easter HST Quilt 2.0 - I can't wait to share it with you on Wednesday, it's so pretty!

I've found more wonderful Easter projects for you this week, and most of these are quick and easy and lots of fun!

Let's go:

  • This week I'm starting with something sweet and it's the Oreo Easter Egg Truffles from A Taste of Madness. This is a four ingredient recipe and perfect for last minute entertaining or for quickly making another batch when you've accidently eaten all the first batch ;) I tried these last week and they are YUM!
  • A quick and easy decorating idea is a framed print and I love the Hippity Happity Hoppity Easter Printable from Live Laugh Rowe. There's three colours to choose from (pink, blue and yellow) and there's also a list of other printables for you to look through. Easy and fun!

  • Jenn from Mother Thyme has a quick and easy No Sew Mini Bunny Pillow for you to try. The kids will love helping out with these and there's a video tutorial to make it super simple. Grab some pretty fabrics and make a whole trace of bunnies!
  • The Rabbit Wall Hanging Crochet Pattern from Caitie at Thorseby Cottage, is a fun tapestry crochet project that I just adore. It's perfect for a child's bedroom of playroom and they'd make lovely non chocolate gifts. The pattern is available in her online shops and she has a tutorial for colour changing as well.
  • Paula's Handmade Space has a great tutorial for How to Make Easy Fabric Carrots. These are quick and easy and perfect for decorating your centerpiece or add a name tag and use them as place cards. Grab your orange fabrics and sew!

  • If you're looking for small gift ideas, then the Mini Crochet Easter Egg Basket pattern from Hello Yellow Yarn might be for you. Fill them with small eggs or homemade goodies and gift them to friends and neighbours. The pattern is free and a great way to use up those yarn scraps.
  • DIY Crush has 5 Free Bunny Applique Templates for you to download and use, and these would be perfect for quilt blocks or to add to any of your Easter projects. The bunnies are adorable and they could be the perfect finishing touch to your quilting projects.

And that's it for this week! I hope they inspired you to create for Easter.

Next week on the blog, I have a free FPP Easter inspired block pattern for you to sew (he's super cute and charming), I'll share my finished Easter HST Quilt 2.0, plus to end my Basket Classic Quilt Blocks series I have a sweet mini quilt pattern you're going to love!

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well!

Happy Week Ending :)
