Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week!
Happy Sunday lovely and Happy Birthday to my wonderful husband Les! I hope your week has been kind.
My week went by in a blink and creative time was limited, but I did put the finishing touches on some Mother's Day gifts. Are you making anything special for your mum this year?
I also found seven inspiring projects to inspire you, so let's go:
- I love the Jelly Jar Table Runner Pattern available from Annie's Craft Store. This beginner friendly pattern is simple and sweet and it would look fantastic in any fabric combination - make one for each season. Patterns are available in two formats.
- Yarn and Hooks has a free pattern and tutorial for the Crochet Star Stitch Wallet or Pouch and I think this is such a sweet project. I'm always looking for projects to use up my yarn stash and my plan is to make a few of these for Christmas gifts - it's never too early to start and your future self will thank you :)
- I can't till Wednesday because I'll be baking a batch of these Cinnamon Sugar Donut Muffins from I Am Baker. I have an old workmate coming for coffee and a long overdue catchup, and we need something to nibble on ;) Don't they look amazing?
- I love the Crochet Berry Ridge Textured Blanket from the girls at Daisy Farm Crafts. The pattern is subtle but effective and the texture is amazing. It's a free pattern and one I'm sure you'll love making over and over again.
- Sew Very Craft has a free tutorial How to Make a Fabric Bowl and these are adorable. You'll find tonnes of uses for these and they'd make a great gift idea for fellow crafters. Have fun with this versatile and practical project, they look addictive.
- How sweet are the C2C Crochet Butterfly Pillows from The Purple Poncho? Butterflies are my spirit animal, and this looks like such a fun project. Bring a little spring to your home or decorate a kid's bedroom with this free pattern and video tutorial.
- Tonight's dinner is the Slow Cooked Shredded Beef Ragu Pasta recipe from Recipe Tin Eats. I'm cooking for ten tonight as we celebrate hubby's birthday and I'm hoping this will be a delicious and hearty meal for everyone.
And that's it for another week. I hope you found lots to create in the coming days.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well :)
