Week Ending - October 6

Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week!

Happy Sunday lovely! I hope you've had a creative and fun week!

Halloween is on the way, so this month's Week Ending posts will be themed for the scary season. I hope to find lots of fun projects in the weeks ahead and they make your celebrations wonderful and handmade.

Let's take a look at the ones I found this week:

  • Bat Crew is a free quilt pattern available on the Fat Quarter Shop website. This looks fun and with easy piecing you'll have a Halloween themed quilt ready in no time. Its available as an instant PDF download so you can start sewing as soon as you choose some fabrics.
  • One Little Project has a quick and easy tutorial for some Halloween Monster Donuts. There's no baking required unless you want to bake your own donuts, and I'm sure the kids will love these. They're fun, easy and no fuss!

  • If you love mosaic crochet, then why not try Batty from Sixel Design. You can add these spooky bats to any of your Halloween crochet projects and the pattern is chart based so you can play with your own designs. The PDF pattern is available for purchase.
  • The Frankie Halloween Block Pattern from Fresh Innovative Designs is super cute and such a fun design for Halloween projects. The pattern is for a 12" quilt block, and you can purchase a copy of the PDF pattern in their shop.

  • Add the Harry Potter Butterbeer Cookies from A Mother Thing to your Halloween menu. These look delicious and everyone loves Harry. The recipe includes a video and I'm sure they'll be a hit with your guests.
  • Crochet the Adorable Crochet Pumpkin Backpack from Craft Ideas to use during this spooky season. This is a free pattern and how fun would it make shopping trips, school days and picnics. He's super cute and the pattern looks easy to follow.
  • Woolly Petals has the cutest Ghost Party! Quilt Pattern and the link to purchase the pattern is at the top of the blog post. There are some examples to tempt you and give you some inspiration and they're all so cute. You'll have fun with this one!

And that's it for another week! I hope you found something fun to create for Halloween.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well :)

Happy Week Ending :)
