Week Ending - November 3

Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week!

Happy Sunday lovely! I hope you've had a lovely week!

November hits and it's time to start planning for Christmas. It's my favorite season and I love creating as much as I can with my own two hands.

Until December 22nd, my Week Ending posts will be full of Christmas projects to inspire you to create for the season. I'll also be sharing my own projects as we go along, and I hope you'll join me in a creative season.

Let's take a look at the projects I found for this week:

  • Rosina Plane has the Letitia's Holiday CAL Pattern available on Ravelry and mosaic crochet is stunning. There's gingerbread, baubles, Christmas trees, candles and so much more to crochet and enjoy. The pattern is available for purchase and there are some lovely inspiration photos to help you decide what to make and which designs to use.
  • The Juniper Quilt Pattern from TQ & LPQ Pattern Shop is a stunning traditional style quilt featuring Jacob's Ladder and Christmas Star blocks and it has a gorgeous vintage feel. This instant download is available in their Etsy shop and you're going to love it!

  • Good Housekeeping has a Spiced Port and Orange Christmas Cake recipe that you can bake now ready for Christmas. This looks lush, moist, rich and spicy and the smells will give your kitchen that early Christmas aroma.
  • The Joy Wall Hanging Crochet Pattern from Annie's Craft Store is a wonderful crochet project for the season. You could make one for your home and one for a friend and spread the joy. I love the colour palette of the example and I'm on the hunt for yarn. The pattern is available for purchase in her shop.

  • I also love the Oh Christmas Tree Pillow Pattern from Ana Morias Soares. This is another mosaic crochet pattern and it's just stunning. There are a few photo examples to show you different colourways and it's available for purchase on Ravelry.
  • Tree Tops is a free Christmas wall quilt pattern from American Patchwork and Quilting, and this will add a festive touch to any corner of your home. The directions are clear and concise and I think you'll have fun with this one.
  • Add the Cranberry Christmas Cake recipe from Just So Tasty to your must make list. This cake looks super moist and spicy and perfect for entertaining. It looks easy and I'm sure it would be a crowd favorite at the office Christmas party or craft day!

And that's it for another week! I hope you found some projects to add to your Christmas creating list.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe! :)

Happy Week Ending :)
