You guys asked for another one and I couldn't let you down, so today I'm releasing my Free 2020 Calendar. I enjoy putting these calendars together and they're a useful tool in the sewing room.
Last year I went with soft watercolour flowers, but this year I wanted something bright and fun and I decided to use a sewing theme.
Can you even believe it's almost 2020? The last twenty years have just flown - it feels like yesterday we were all worried about the big Y2K glitch ;)
I have to stay organised or I start to feel overwhelmed. I have my Kikki K Planner which is bursting at the seams at times and I can't live without it. I also have a Blog Organiser I designed for myself which keeps track of all my posts, ideas, plans etc. and I have a family calendar and a monthly work calendar - there's no excuse for me forgetting what needs to be done and where everyone needs to be. ;)
I've tried using the calendar on my phone and my computer, but I'm old school and prefer the pen and paper method to chart out my commitments, goals and plans. Are you the same?
I know a lot of you printed my 2019 calendar to use in your sewing space, and some of you printed them up as gifts as well, so you can do the same this year - they make nice presents and it's a gift that your friends and family can use all year long.
I sent my file to Officeworks for printing because they did a great job last year, but due to the paper I chose this year they left a 5mm border around each page, cutting off some of the design - it's still OK but I don't think this will happen on your home computer (sorry if it does). I had them bind it with a metal coil and they also included a thick cardboard backing board which I use for sticky notes etc.
I kept the calendar format the same as last year, but I did tweak it a little. The calendar boxes are slightly bigger, so you have more room to record all your important dates, and I kept the quotes but this year they are fun quilt sayings to make you smile.
There's a quilting/sewing graphic for each month, and some of them are block designs I've used and others are notions and sewing machines I downloaded from Free Pretty Things For You - it's a great site with lots of fun stuff for you to download!
I've also added sticky notes to the bottom of each month, and you can use them to record any notes, your finished projects and things on your wishlist. Everyone found the little note boxes useful last year, so I hope you like the sticky notes.
I like to record the projects I sew or crochet each month, and it's fun to look over them at the end of every year - you might not think you were productive but when you see them all together, you'll be pleasantly surprised. :)
It should be a bright and colourful addition to your sewing space this year, and seriously who doesn't love a sewing theme? Even a non-sewer will love these cute graphics!
The PDF file is free to download, and it contains all twelve months so you're ready for 2020. You can send it to the printers like I did or print them up on your home computer as you need them or all at once.
