Week Ending - December 20

Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create, every day of the week!

Happy Sunday lovely! How's your week been? Are you locked, loaded and ready for Christmas? I thought they might be a few of you out there looking for last minute Christmas inspiration, so this week's post is full of wonderful ideas for the kitchen and for stuffing those stockings - there's more than seven links this week because I found so much!

Whether you're looking for last minute baking ideas or a gift for the neighbour, I hope you find something creative and fun in this line-up. Let's go:

  • Skip to My Lou shared a quick tutorial for her adorable Christmas Tree Napkins. You can make a batch from your favorite fabrics to match your Christmas table setting. If you're planning on using plain napkins and need some ideas for napkin rings, then check out 22 Great DIY Napkin Rings from Style Motivation. You can adapt any of these to suit the season.
  • Sarah from Sarah Joy Blog shared her recipe for the Ultimate Christmas Skillet Cookie and OMG yum :) I want one of these now ;) Think we might share this as a family on Christmas Eve.
  • Jenn from Mother Thyme has the best DIY crafts and I love her DIY Buffalo Check Pillar Candles. They are sweet, simple and would make nice gifts for neighbours or teachers. She has all the details on her blog. And speaking of teachers, check out these DIY Christmas Teacher Gift Card Holders. So fun and quick!

  • Need to keep the kids busy while you wrap gifts or just put your feet up for while? They would love making these DIY Mini Art Easel Ornaments from A Beautiful Mess. I love handmade ornaments and this could be a fun activity for them. If you don't want messy, swap out the paints for some fun Christmas stickers or let them glue on buttons, ribbons or other embellishments.
  • Looking for some last minute crochet gifts? How about the Lovely Lavender Crochet Sachets from Mama In A Stitch or this adorable Snowman Mug Hug from Red Yarn or the Puffy Bath Pouf from A Stitchin Mummy? These would make great stocking stuffers and if you're looking for something to include in a Christmas Card, then crochet a Christmas Star Ornament from OneDogWoof.

And that's it for this week. I hope you found lots of projects for those last minute gifts etc.

The countdown is on and Christmas is almost here, so from my family to yours Merry Christmas! Stay safe, well and may your season be full of love, happiness and family! :)

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely!

Happy Week Ending :)
