Week Ending (August 5)

Happy Sunday creative peeps! It's another cold and wet weekend for us but with no real plans we're spending our time relaxing and working on our own hobbies; that's my idea of the perfect weekend. :)
This weeks list has some great projects which I hope inspire you as much as they do me:

  • I love a crocheted mandala and this Winter Mandala by Crochet Millan is just stunning. I love the colours and the shape of this design and I'm looking forward to making a few of these to gift for some upcoming birthdays.
  • Another gorgeous gift idea are these sweet Lavender Sachets from Charise Creates. Lavender reduces anxiety and emotional stress, and it improves brain function and sleep so why not give someone special a gift that's just as beneficial as a huge hug. Its also a great scrap busting project.
  • Speaking of gifts, Kerryanne from the Shabby Art Boutique has just released a set of three gorgeous Printable Watercolour Rose Gift Tags. I love everything Kerryanne posts and I visit her site a lot for pretty printables. If you have Photoshop you can add your own text to the tags and shes also sharing a few of her favorite font bundles for you to try.
  • Have you seen the big announcement of the Ubuntu Scheepjes CAL for 2018? Deidre Uys has done it again. Another fabulous crochet along pattern. Ohhh I'm so tempted to order some yarn and be ready for the September 12th start date. Anyone else keen to join me?
  • I try to have a green smoothie for lunch everyday, and Kat at The Organised Housewife has a fantastic (and very yummy) recipe for a green soup. This Easy Broccoli and Basil Soup With Garlic Croutons is quick and easy to prepare and a great way to boost your immune system during winter.
  • Binding clips have so many uses and there's lots of ideas out there for storing them but did you know you can make a Handy Wrist Holder For Clips? Its such a clever idea and there's a video plus written instructions to help you make one for yourself.
  • And I had to include one "naughty" recipe..... just because. How about this White Chocolate and Raspberry Pudding from Create, Bake, Make? Looks delicious doesn't it?. I'm pretty sure this will be on our dinner menu tonight :)
Well that's it for another week. I hope you found something to inspire you.
Before I go, I wanted to let you know that my Stellar Lamp Mats pattern is now available as a PDF pattern. You've seen these lamp mats as a magazine project and a blog tour project earlier in the year:

I know it was difficult to source the magazine when it was in print and many of you wanted to make your own so the pattern is now available. You can find PDF patterns in my Big Cartel shop HERE and as an instant download in my Etsy shop HERE. I'll be releasing the other magazine projects over the coming months.
And that's it! I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Happy Week Ending :)
