Happy Sunday lovely! I hope your week has been a kind one.

I've been sewing lots this week. I've felt stagnant over the winter, but spring has made me feel productive and energetic. I'm putting the finishing touches on a new mini quilt for next month and I can't wait to introduce you to Alice :)

I did find you lots of fun projects to try in the meantime, and I was going to start Halloween themed ones but I couldn't wait to share these first, so lets go:

If you love strip piecing, check out Diary of A Quilter's post Strip Piece Quilting Basics. Amy has put together lots of tips and techniques to explain the process and to make it an enjoyable way of quilting. Go check it out!
My dad grows the best peaches, so I've bookmarked the Honey Spiced Peaches recipe from Alyson Morgan ready for when he harvests. These sound amazing and I love her photography - her photos always look so peaceful!

Mother Thyme always shares the best quick and easy DIY projects and I love her DIY Fall and Halloween Scrolls. These scrolls are a free download and they're super easy (I made her Valentines Day scroll and loved it). If you can't decide between the two designs, make both!
The girls from Daisy Farm Crafts have done it again with their Crochet Griddle Stitch Inverse Squares pattern. I love this and it looks so fun! It makes a decent sized throw and I'm adding this to my must make list.

Have you seen the gorgeous Make Time fabrics from Comfort Stitching? I love the soft tones of this collection and those designs are so pretty. There's pins, scissors, checks and wovens and I think this is a fabric line you'll want to create with.
Everyone is filling their homes with potted plants at the moment, so why not make some Crocheted Plant Baskets using the free pattern from A Box of Twine? If plants are not your thing, you could use these as storage baskets in the sewing room. :)
And lastly, I really want to try this Irish Lemon Pudding recipe from Content in a Cottage. It looks yum and sounds easy, plus the ingredient list requires things you'd have on hand in the cupboard. Can't wait to try this!
