I have found calculating the pieces much easier with the help of the Dear Jane Square and Im sure the Triangle will be just as useful:
There are quite a few blocks which I will have to do by hand and as Im going to Melbourne for a Quilt Camp in April with Leigh (wooohoooooo!!!), I might get them all ready to stitch will Im relaxing in the Dandenong!!

ReplyDeleteWelcome to the world of Dear Jane. I started mine in 2005 and am up to the quilting stage. I've loved hand piecing the blocks, could do it easier with small kids as it is more portable for me.

ReplyDeleteWonderful DJ blocks. Well Done! I started a Civil War quilt late last year but have only made 2 blocks, some 200ish to go. They are from a book titled Civil War Love Letter, very inspiring! Must find mine today and have another go!! Cathy

ReplyDeleteThose DJ blocks look great. I think we are so spoiled with rulers and books and machines to help us do these things. I wouldn't want to switch, though!
