This year the millstone will be 21 years of having Polymyositis and Lupus -- living through it with no serious health problems along the way after the initial six months & with the help of a great doctor figuring out what doses of medication was needed to keep it under control. We always know I can have a major set back but always remain positive.

In August 2009 it will be a year since my Grandma has died, the past months have been hard for my family but we are getting through it. 2009 will continue to be tough without having her to talk to and missing holidays with us.

Happy New Year.

Hi Rose,
oh - what a gem your quilt is & even more special as you dedicated it to your husband - may (at least!) the next 20 years be full of joy, happy memories & good health for you two!
This year we will celebrate my boyfriend's 30th birthday - he doesn't like me to remind him of that fact but I'm really looking forward to this...{maybe because my big "0" is still in the far...eh..near future ;o)} it also means that we know each other for nearly 9 years...and I'm already anticipating our 10th anniversary of relationship...
Thanks for this question - I just realized all this while thinking of an answer to write ;o)
Happy new year,
Julia

Nice givewaway package! We had such a full 2008, I think 2009 might be a quiet one. No big birthdays or graduations or weddings, so possibly the best thing about 2009 is that it is quietly uneventful and just full of good health and activities for our family. -- Michele

Shucks you asked about 2009....we just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on Dec 30th but with no fanfare. We hope to celebrate it properly later in 2009. Now if I must pull out the big guns....I turn 50 on Dec 22, 2009.
