Week Ending (April 7)

Happy Sunday guys! How has your week been? I hope its been a kind one. We're having an odd job weekend and trying to repair/redo/update things around the house...its never ending, isn't it? I've been sewing as well and I'll share my progress later in the week.
Today I've got some more Easter links to inspire you, so lets get straight to it shall we:

  • First up is this gorgeous Chocolate Leaf Easter Wreath. This is such a simple idea but it looks so pretty and would make a great centrepiece for the table. Your guests could nibble away on this wafer thin chocolates at the end of the meal, and you could decorate it any way you want. Very clever idea!
  • You've still got a little time to sew up one of these adorable Bunny Easter Door Hangers. Its made from felt and its sooooo cute - the kids would love having one of these hanging from their bedroom door. There's a full step by step tutorial so grab some felt and start sewing :)
  • Jenn from Clean and Scentsible has a round up of the Best Free Easter Printables and they are all adorable. There's placecards, menus, bunting, signs and heaps more to choose from so head on over and print your favorites.

  • I absolutely adore these Crochet Carrot Favor Bags. They are crocheted in the round and look pretty easy to make. I think the kids would love these and they would be perfect to fill with eggs and gift to friends.
  • If your looking for some quick sewing projects to decorate your home then you'll love these 3 Easy Easter Sewing Projects. There's a cushion, some jumbo carrots and tea towels, and they're all going to add a little Easter to your home. Scroll down to watch the video tutorial which has all the details.

  • You could sew a heap of these Tiny Fabric Easter Baskets to gift to friends and neighbours. Grab your stash of Easter fabrics and a heap of tiny chocolate eggs, and make someone's Easter a little more special with a cute gift.
  • The Crochet Mini Bunny Bag is another gorgeous free pattern that looks easy to crochet. The littlies in your life would love to carry one of these to collect their eggs and if you scroll down to the bottom there's also a link for a free pattern for the bigger kids. So sweet!

And that's it for another week. Next week will be my final Easter themed list and I'm hoping to find lots of last minute ideas to help you create something fun for your celebrations.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday. I have something a little different to share with you tomorrow so until then...Happy Week Ending :)
