Week Ending - December 15

Happy Sunday guys! I hope you've had a good week. We've had a few Christmas celebrations to attend this week and it's been wonderful to catch up with friends. Things are coming to an end for the year, holidays are being greatly anticipated and not knowing what's in the presents under the Christmas tree is driving some family members insane - I love Christmas!

I've got some more Christmas projects for you this week, so let's get to it:

  • First up are these super cute Rainbow Trees from Christopher Thompson aka The Tattooed Quilter. He has a full tutorial on his blog and they would look super cute on a sideboard or as part of your dinner table centrepiece. Grab your supplies and create.
  • This Christmas Mixed Nut Bundt Cake from Lord Byron's Kitchen looks yummo! It's full of nuts and drizzled with a sweet vanilla frosting. It's a nice alternative to the traditional fruit cake and you could adapt it to suit your own needs.
  • Another great nut recipe is this Crock Pot Peanut Clusters from Freebie Finding Mom. It looks really easy and a great recipe to make for neighbours or crafting friends.

  • The Santa Belt Crochet Ornament from The Yarn Society looks fun and you could make a batch of these for your Christmas tree. You only need a few supplies and they look pretty damn cute.
  • I love the Cookie Cutter Quilt Pattern from Annie's Pattern Central. It's easy piecing and lots of fun applique, and it finishes at 59" square so you can use it as a throw this Christmas. If you looking for a quick quilt pattern then this might be the one.

  • If you like adding stitchery to your projects then you'll love the Quilted Christmas Wreath Pillow from Super Mom, No Cape.  There's a full tutorial to help you make your own version and the stitchery is a sweet addition.
  • And finally, The Night Before Christmas is my favorite Christmas book and this Santa Reindeer C2C Graphgan from Nana's Crafty Home brings this book to life. You can snuggle down and watch Christmas movies while you crochet this beautiful blanket. The pattern is a freebie, so enjoy!

And that's it for another week. Next week I'm sharing some of the QAL's and CAL's I've found that will be running during 2020.

Next week on the blog I'm sharing a yummy Christmas Cookie recipe plus I'm talking about Sewing Your Stash in 2020 and ways to stretch your quilting dollar further.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!

Happy Week Ending :)
