Week Ending - December 22

Happy Sunday guys! How's your Christmas prep and celebrations going? I'm ready and excited...come at me Christmas! We've looking forward to a relaxed Christmas Eve at Madeline and Michael's house and then all the family is here for wonderful Christmas Day. I love Christmas!

Today I'm sharing the Quilt Alongs and Crochet Alongs which I've found that are running in 2020. I may have shared one or two of these in previous Week Ending posts but a reminder is always good. Let's see what I found:

  • First up is the Bloom-Topia Quilt Along hosted by the Fat Quarter Shop. This quilt is stunning and your kind donations will benefit the Make A Wish Foundation. The FQS always run an awesome Quilt Along so make sure you add this to your 2020 list.
  • CALCrochetAlong has chosen a dog theme for their project this year and the Dogghan CAL 2020 looks like a lot of fun. They had a cat theme last year and it was super cute. If you're a dog lover like me you'll love this one!
  • There's another Murder Mystery Quilt for 2020 and this one appears to have an Egyptian theme. How fun! Registration closes on Feb 11 and there is a monthly fee.  Once you sign up you're patterns will be delivered via email. Have fun solving this one.
  • Pintangle has a 2020 Crazy Quilt Challenge starting and this could be the chance to let your creativity shine. There's lots of information to help you get started and its a fantastic long term project to work on.
  • The Kaleidoscope Blanket from Catherine's Crochet Corner is a work of art. It's designed to look like a EPP quilt and the CAL starts on January 3, 2020. It runs for 26 weeks and you definitely wont want to miss this one.
  • Kathryn Kerr is running the Etoiles Rouges 2020 Block of the Week Program. This is a pretty quilt and there are 49 variations of the Ohio Star to piece. You must register and it start's in January. Looks like fun!

  • And finally, I had to include one recipe because I do love my food, and this Asparagus, Pea and Buttermilk Quiche is delicious. I made this for a quick lunch last week with a few girlfriends and it was perfect. I'll definitely be making it again very, very soon!

And that's it for another week. I hope the lead up to Christmas is a relaxing one for you and your family. Enjoy your break and I hope Santa is good to you! I'm taking a little time off, but I'll be back next Sunday with another Week Ending post, and my December newsletter should hit your inboxes on Friday. It will give you a glimpse of some the things I have planned for 2020 :)

Until then...Happy Week Ending and Merry Christmas :)
