Week Ending - October 15

Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week!

Happy Sunday lovely! I hope your week has been kind!

Garden season is here, so this week dad, mum and I went on our annual garden centre trip. We were inspired at each and every place we visited and brought way too much! We're hopeful for a bumper crop this year and it was great to chat to some of the other gardeners and talk about our hopes for the growing season!

I did find you some fun Halloween projects this week, so let's go:

  • Yummy Mummy Kitchen has some great Halloween Pizza ideas that are sure to delight the kids. There's spiders, bats, pumpkins and eyes decorating these little pizza bites and they'd be perfect for parties of treats for a movie night.
  • The Oozie Cup Cozies from Sarah Faith Crafts is a free pattern for you to crochet. They add a bit of spooky to your on-the-go cups and a touch of style and comfort. Grab your cotton yarns and start crocheting today.

  • All Hallow's Eve from Jedi Craft Girl is a free pattern you must recreate this Halloween. It's simple patchwork and applique and it looks quick and easy to sew. Finished size is 42" square and Amanda has included a tutorial to help you out.
  • The Halloween Bats Quilt Block tutorial from Centre Street Quilts is a free pattern which could be used as a block, or it could make a sweet border for larger quilts. The tutorial has lots of clear photos to help you sew along and it's a fun and easy block.

  • The three ingredient Vampire Fudge from Anns Entitled Life looks absolutely decadent. The recipe is simple and it's perfect for Halloween get togethers or as a snack to enjoy with the family. I made this last year, and it was delicious! :)
  • The Trick or Treat Pillow from Tiny Couch Crochet is a double-sided pillow perfect for Halloween. This is a free pattern including charts and tips to help you create a gorgeous throw pillow for the season.
  • I love love love the DIY Crescent Moon Wreath from Life is a Party. It's not a traditional Halloween wreath but I think it would make a great statement piece this season. I'm thinking my glasshouse needs one of these. :)

And that's it for another week! I hope these projects inspired you.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well :)

Happy Week Ending :)
