Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week!
Happy Sunday lovely! I hope you've had a creative week!
I had the Cricut machine pumping all week, personalising glass baubles, adding Christmas decals to t-shirts, designing and creating my Christmas cards and I made a gorgeous farmhouse style Christmas sign using a free SVG you can find HERE. It was a fun week and because life is so unpredictable, I'm happy to have these projects done and ready for Christmas!
I also found seven gorgeous Christmas projects to inspire you, so let's go:
- Let's start with this stunning December Magic Tree Skirt pattern from Emma Leach. Flying geese are fun and easy to sew and this free pattern requires 68 pairs to complete the tree skirt. What a gorgeous addition this will be to your Christmas decor.
- The Granny Square Christmas Tree Crochet Pattern is from Sensible Designs and the PDF pattern is available in their Etsy shop. This is such a fun design and granny squares are a great portable project for craft days or road trips, or for winding down at night.
- Wow your guests with these Christmas Tree Cakes from Cookie Dough and Oven Mitt. It's a simple cake recipe with lots of piping and doesn't that red and white piping make these cakes look festive. A fun idea to bookmark for parties, craft days or just because days :)
- I love the Jumbo Crochet Christmas Stocking pattern from Sewrella. The free pattern is beginner friendly and there are two designs to choose from. You could personalise them with some embroidery or add embellishments to suit your Christmas style this year.
- Holiday Forest from Wendy Sheppard is a gorgeous free quilt pattern for you to download. It's a simple design that feels festive and cosy and you could play around with different colour combinations to suit your home. Just lovely!
- The Food Fun Family has a recipe for Butterscotch Bars and they sound delicious. This recipe is their family favorite and it looks very easy to recreate. I can't wait to add some of these to my cookie plates this year.
- I love the Little Joys Quilt pattern from Elea Lutz. This requires simple piecing and applique techniques and its fat quarter friendly. Such a stunning quilt to give your space a Christmas touch and perfect for snuggling under while watching those cheesy Christmas movies we all love.
And that's it for another week. I hope this week's post inspired you to plan some crafting for Christmas.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well :)
