Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week!
Happy Sunday lovely! I hope your week has been kind!
This morning I'm picking up something very exciting from the printers - a copy of my Free 2024 Calendar. I've been working on this as life allows, and I've had several of you message me asking when it will be released. Soon, very very soon, so stay tuned! :)
I did find you some wonderful projects this week, so let's take a look:
- We have friends coming for lunch today so I'm trying the Spinach Ricotta Brunch Bake from Jo Cooks. Served with a salad and some sourdough straight from the oven will make this a quick but very tasty Sunday lunch.
- I love the simplicity of the C2C Coaster Pattern from Hobbi. This is a free pattern, and they would be super quick and easy. A set of coasters would make a lovely gift and you can start crocheting some now for Christmas.
- I had someone reach out to me for advice on quilt as you go, and it's not a technique I use. I did share with her the Quilt as You Go Tutorial For Beginners from Apple Green Cottage, and I thought I'd share it here as well for anyone else who might need some advice.
- Simple Handmade Everyday has the gorgeous Loyal Heights Irish Chain Quilt available as a free pattern. This is an uneven Irish Chain, and the design is soft and stunning. This one would work up quickly and be great for Christmas gifts.
- An Italian In My Kitchen has the Nutella Pinwheel Cookie recipe available, and I need to try these cookies this week. Maybe Landon and I bake these together - he loves to help, and he loves Nutella. They look amazing and easy to bake.
- For those who celebrate Thanksgiving, National Quilters Circle has a free Turkey quilt block pattern for you to download. Simply join their mailing list to receive the free pattern and start sewing.
- Grace and Yarn has an adorable Free Crochet Turkey Pattern on her blog and the kids will love this one. The pattern looks very easy to follow and it is also available in her shop if you prefer an ad free version. Have fun!
And that's it for another week! I hope these projects inspire you to create.
Are we ready for Christmas projects yet? I think I am, so starting next week my Week Ending posts will focus on Christmas themed projects, recipes and gift giving ideas!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well :)
