M&M Cookies

Having cookies prepared and in the freezer ready to bake is time saving and convenient, and these M&M Cookies will be an instant hit!

You've heard the saying, work smarter not harder, well these M&M Cookies not only taste amazing, but they will also make your life so much easier!

I was so excited when I was flicking through my recipe files and found this recipe, again. The dough is prepared ahead of time, and you simply freeze the cookie balls and bake them as you need them.

These cookies simplify my life! Landon and Iris love a sweet treat at nanna's house, so having them ready to bake in the freezer means I'm always prepared, and my poppets are never disappointed.

I'd forgotten about this recipe and haven't made these cookies since Maddi left home almost seven years ago. We always had a stash in the freezer, and we'd bake a couple while we were watching movies or a TV series.

They are gooey and delicious straight from the oven, and they only take about 10-12 minutes to bake, making them perfect for unexpected guests or sweet grandbabies.

I will warn you though - one is never enough, so bake two for yourself! You won't regret it!

These M&M Cookies are loaded with dark chocolate chips and M&M's and I add a few more to the top as they come out of the oven. They are very sweet, and the brown sugar gives them a delicious flavor - they are seriously the best!

The tops of the cookies should be slightly undercooked when you bake them so the extra M&M's attach quite easily or you can gently push them into position.

The recipe makes a generous twenty-four cookie balls, and they last up to six months in the freezer.

If you need to bake the whole batch of twenty-four cookies for large gatherings, simply freeze the cookie balls for an hour to firm them up prior to baking.

I store the frozen cookie balls in a ziplock bag and when we're looking for a treat, I let them sit on the counter for fifteen minutes before baking - all the prep work is done and there's no mess or fuss!

There's no waste either, as you bake only what you require, and it also stops you from overindulging on a whole batch of cookies in the cookie jar ;)

Having M&M Cookies prepared and ready to bake is a time saver. They are decadent, soft, gooey and sweet and one of the nicest cookies to serve at short notice.

I hope you love the convenience and flavor of these M&M Cookies. I'm so happy I found this recipe again in my files - it's made life so much easier and sweeter!

Enjoy!
