Seven inspiring projects, seven talented makers! Quilting, crochet and baking links to inspire you to create every day of the week!
Happy Sunday lovely! I hope you've had a wonderful and creative week.
How are you going with your Christmas planning? I've been adding more and more to my lists and some of today's projects have been my inspiration. It's peaceful to sit in the patio and crochet or hand sew a few items and I'm sure I'll run out of time before I run out of projects. ;)
Let's take a look at the projects I found this week:
- Last year I made the Red Nosed Reindeer Wall Hanging from Love and Stitch Designs. It was such a fun crochet project, and I gave it to the grandkids to decorate their play area. I plan on making another one, so they have one for each bedroom this year. A great free project that the kids will love.
- The Christmas Tree Quilt Block is a free pattern from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mum and it's scrappy and fun and perfect for any project. The tutorial makes a 12" (finished) square and uses traditional piecing. So fun!
- The Vegan Gingerbread Tart from Addicted To Dates looks delicious and who can resist gingerbread with a light and creamy spiced chocolate filling? I'm adding this one to my Christmas Eve menu list.
- The Tapestry Crochet Christmas Blanket from Burgundy and Blush is a free pattern (just sign up to newsletter) and this is cosy and fun. There are trees, Santa gnomes, snowflakes, deer and so much more to create a gorgeous festive blanket.
- I adore the pink colourway of the All is Bright Quilt pattern from AGF Gallery. This is a free pattern available on the Fat Quarter Shop and it's a modern twist on a Christmas Tree using stunning triangles. Grab your free PDF HERE.
- How adorable are the Rice Krispie Christmas Puddings from Crumbs and Corkscrews? They look so festive, and the chocolate lovers will thank you. I see a batch of these in my future for my craft girls.
- This week I started crocheting the Crochet Pine Cones from Crochet to Play. These are fun and I thought they'd add a handmade and natural element to my gift boxes. The pattern is easier than it looks, and they work up beautifully.
And that's it for another week! I hope you found something to create for the festive season.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday lovely! Stay safe and well :)
Happy Week Ending :)
