National Sewing Month

As you know, September is National Sewing Month and I was asked by the lovely people at All Free Sewing to write another article for their website. This year I'm sharing my ideas and tips on How To Plan Sewing Christmas Gifts:

Christmas is my favorite time of year and thinking about sewing gifts for the family always excites me. Handmade gifts are always treasured and you can't buy the joy they bring to their recipient.

If your thinking about sewing for family and friends this Christmas you can read my article HERE. And if you leave a comment on the article you receive an entry in the draw to win a Janome Sewing Machine worth over $1000. You gotta do it!

I did link a few of my free patterns/tutorials etc. in the article but I also wanted to remind you about my free Christmas Planner:

I use this planner every year and I simply reprint the pages I need before planning and organising our Christmas. The planner includes everything from menus and pantry checklists, to getting your guest room ready for visitors.

You can keep all of your notes, receipts, ideas, recipes and checklists in the one place, and its cute so the kids will want to help with the planning. There's also a "Letter To Santa" for them to print and send to the North Pole :)

You can read more about my free Christmas Planner and download your PDF copy all ready to print and bind, HERE.

Don't forget to check out all the articles and free patterns being offered at All Free Quilting and Fave Quilts during National Sewing Month. There's so much inspiration there already and you'll have more ideas than you need to start planning your Christmas sewing.

Thanks so much to the team at All Free Quilting, especially Krista. You're wonderful to work with and I was honored to be asked to contribute again this year. You guys are the best!
Happy sewing :)
